WWII GERMAN COASTAL ARTILLERY BADGE
A nice mid war example of a Coastal artillery badge by the well known maker R.S. The badge has none of it's gilt finish intact, all of finish has turn a siler color and is a mid to late war zinc example in mint condition. Maker marked to the reverse with R.S. In raised lettering. This is a textbook example. Acquired by me from a British vet living in the US.
GERMAN WWII GROSS DEUTSCHLAND OFFICER GREATCOAT
This is a beautiful Gross Deutschland Panzer Recon overcoat which came from the mans estate. There are no imperfections which I see. Has the officer cuff title and Lieutenant shoulder boards. This overcoat was originally offered along with the mans black panzer jacket, service tunic and visor & overseas cap. Unfortunately they were sold separately. I will include a copy of the original offering showing the entire grouping and the document showing my purchase of the overcoat. CONSIGNMENT ITEM TP
WWII GERMAN GESCHWADER BOELCKE EM/NCOS CUFFTITL
Roughly 1 1/2'' tall, 20'' long, EM/NCO's pattern, deep navy blue, woven wool construction cufftitle with machine embroidered, Gothic styled script, "Geschwader Boelcke", in silvery/grey cotton threads. The cufftitle has the typical opened back construction with the top and bottom edges folded over and machine stitched to the reverse. The reverse of the embroidery has a loosely woven, protective, grey fabric backing. Some moth bites. Almost mint!
SWIM TRUNKS WITH NSRL/DRL BRONZE SPORTS BADGE IN
Super rare swim trunks with patch sewn to the front black and gold. An award badge for the NSRL, "Nationalsozialistischer Reichsbund für Leibesübungen" (National-socialist State-league for Physical-fitness), which was incorporated into the DRL, "Deutscher Reichsbund für Leibesübungen" (German State-league for Physical-fitness), without changing their award insignia, in 1938.
WWII GERMAN GRADE ONE PANZER MARKSMEN'S LANYARD
Grade one Panzer personnels marksmens lanyard consists of a heavy, twisted, interwoven silver/aluminum braid with extended buttoning loops to both top and bottom ends. The braid has the addition of an interwoven silver/aluminum wire knot to both the top and bottom edges of the shield device and another interwoven silver/aluminum wire knot at the top edge of the bottom buttoning loop. The braiding has no protective strip on the back as found with early ones. The top of the lanyard has a zinc, stamped, alloy construction, vertically oval shield. The shield features an embossed, repeating zig-zag and bead pattern with a Wehrmacht style eagle with down swept wings positioned to the top center encompassing the cut-out, left forward profile of a "Panzer I". The shield is attached to an interwoven silver/aluminum braid rosette with a protective piece of grey material neatly handstitched to the reverse to prevent chafe wear to the uniform. Nice example. Scarce Panzer marksmens lanyard.
