WWII GERMAN CITY POLICE SHAKO PATTERN 1936
It was in 1936 that the shown shako was adopted with green cloth-covered body and all other fittings in jet black (strap, top, brim). This differed from the rural police Wachtmeister where all the above was in brown color. At the front is the national eagle emblem with swastika and an oak-leaf cluster open at the top. Centered above the shield is an oval color cockade slotted in a groove dated 1938 S.R.M.. There is a maker label that is partialy covered by a name (SCHRACK ROTTW.D.SCHP. size also noted as 56. There are no moth holes. These are getting hard to get these days.
WWII HARBOR PILOTS FLAG
Great displayable size, 24 by 19 inches wool flag. It has nice bright colors, and is an attractive flag which will display well, but does have some very light moth holes. It is nicely marked on the edge and has the two metal clips with reinforced corners. This would be a great addition to your German Navy display. Ken
WWII GERMAN IRON CROSS 1ST CLASS
This features a slightly toned nickel/silver frame that is a excellent! The black core finish and highlights look great with little to no wear. The reverse retains all of the silver finish with moderate toning. There is a coke bottle shaped pin, a rugged hinge and a C shaped catch soldered directly onto the back of the cross. A great example! Unmarked. CONSIGNMENT ITEM! A
WHALE TOOTH W/ SCRIMSHAW
This tooth is 5 ¾ in length and has Scrimshaw as pictured of a Clipper ship , also there are additional carvings on the tooth which I am told are either Inuit Eskimo carvings or Pacific Islander carvings. This is very unusual from what I am told and makes for a very interesting historical piece. I purchased this item with several other whaling items which I have since sold. CONSIGNMENT ITEM! TP
