WWII ARMY DRESS BAYONET
The hilt of this Army Dress Bayonet still has good nickel plated finish. It needs to be cleaned, but it looks to be as though it should come up to near mint condition with no problem. The original felt is missing from the rifle slot. The mortise button and lock work well. The grip plates are the black checkered celluloid and are in crisp condition being retained by nickel plated steel rivets having dressed heads. The scabbard is in excellent condition, having original black paint. This paint is in about 98% condition and still has luster to its finish. The stepped style short blade is still bright throughout and rates in mint condition. The Blade is unmarked .
GERMAN WWII SS EM TUNIC
This is an SS tunic in my collection for almost 50 years. I believe it to be repurposed from a Kriegsmarine or Coastal Artillery or other branch tunic for SS use in a Tropical Climate. The tunic is a small size with 4 pleated pockets with the white piped infantry boards and machine sewn eagle which came with it. There is also clear evidence that it once had a cuff title sewn on the left sleeve above a patch as pictured. The buttons which are original to the tunic are the silver pebbled hollow back type painted green, showing even wear and dating to 42. Markings on the rear of the buttons are G.B.; G.L.L.; W. B. There is a repair on the inside rear of the collar and the patch on the left sleeve. NO PAY PAL Priority mail Plus insurance paid by buyer CONSIGNMENT ITEM TP.
