WWII GERMAN LUFTWAFFE OFFICER\'S M43 FIELD CAP
This Luftwaffe officer M43 cap has a great look. It’s made out of a fairly coarse, late-war wool, similar to that used on enlisted caps, reflecting the order for officers in field units to dress as their men. It’s a tailor made cap, with officer piping installed along the top edge when it was made. This Luftwaffe officer M43 cap features an enlisted type trapezoid, with the Luftwaffe eagle and swastika emblem and national cockade embroidered on wool. Unmarked inside.
98 DRESS BAYONET WOOD STAG GRIPS
9 5/8 inch polished blade with wood stag grips held on by two rivets. Croosguard and pommel are chrome, still has felt insert. Maker marked Gustav Spritzer. Scabbord is painted black with brown leather frog. Excellent condition, rare
NCO/OFFICERS SHORT DRESS BAYONET
Roughly a 7 7/8 inch plated blade, blade is in mint shape. Maker marked blade. Still has leather washer. Has a black painted scabbord with 75% paint and a nice frog.
NCO/OFFICERS SHORT DRESS BAYONET HORN GRIP
Roughly a 7 3/4 inch plated blade, blade has some dings. Maker marked blade. Grips are horn i think with worm holes. Has a black painted scabbord with 85% paint.Has bayonet lug and button, button is fake and does not work, still has red felt in slot.
COASTAL ARTILLERY EM/NCO BREAST EAGLE
This is a standard Navy yellow on green breast eagle. It is used and without any damage showing only light age.
WWII STAG HANDLE SHORT BAYONET, (EXCELLENT PLUS)
The nickel plating of this bayonet shows some age and some scratching. It is also slightly dull, but would clean up. The mortise button and lock work well. The original red felt is still in the rifle slot. This hilt is equipped with a set of perfectly fit stag grip plates. These grip plates have turned a beautiful golden color on the edges, and the obverse and reverse grains are very pleasing to the eye, varying in color from tan to dark brown. These plates are really nice! The scabbard shell is straight throughout. The paint, though, is probably about 85%. and could clean up some if worked on. The frog is a patent leather and is crazed. The blade of this example is a stepped end short type, having narrow fuller construction. The plating is still bright. All in all, this blade grades at about excellent to excellent plus. The obverse ricasso is stamped with the Anton Wingen trademark. The original leather washer is present. 13 3/4 inches overall.
WWII ARMY CAPTAIN OFFICERS GREATCOAT
A nice officers quality Army greatcoat. Made for an officer, fine wool, with the darkgreen collar, has gray pebbled buttons on front, and sew-in shoulderboards for an Artillery officer, red piped, dull silver cord, and gilt \"27\" and a double gilt pips to each.
