RAF SWORD GEORGE V
This is probably a copy sword produced in the 1950s or 60s I am told. Appears to be regulation being engraved on both sides (blade is covered with cosmoline grease which I have not removed) measures 39 ¾ out of the scabbard, blade has no dings or rust or pitting and should be bright when cleaned. Scabbard is black leather in very good condition, brass fittings are all present with surface verdigris which should clean up without much effort. All in all a nice sword for the price. PLEASE check your customs regulations. Consignment item!
WAFFEN SS STEEL PAINTED BUCKLE
This unmarked pressed steel version of the hard to find Waffen-SS buckle still has crisp details, with virtually no wear present. It retains approximately 5% of its is painted silver finish. There is some rust on the reverse. It has the elongated u shaped belt catch with welded flat feet. An overall sound example!
EARLY SA DAGGER (MAKER CHISTIANSWERK)
Early SA Dagger. Christianswerk (fork inside double oval) TM. Nickel-silver hilt fittings show light surface wear/age patina, with reverse lower crossguard group marked, "Nrh" (Neiderrhein). Medium reddish-brown grip shows light surface wear with no chipping. Is complete with silver grip eagle and SA insert properly inset. Polished blade grades excellent showing light surface wear/runner marks with no pitting or nicks. Deeply-etched motto retains 100% of the light gray background frosting. Dent-free steel scabbard retains approximately 100% of the original paint. Early plated scabbard fittings show surface wear/ lower ball is dent free. Dagger is complete with brown leather hanger showing light wear to leather. Nice Christianswerk example!
