Luftwaffe blue/grey wool base with machine embroidered, intertwined, zig-zagged, "lightening bolts", in silvery/grey rayon threads. The outer edge of the badge is trimmed with hand stitched on, twisted, silvery/grey rayon braiding indicating NCO ranks. 60mm
WWII GERMAN LUFTWAFFE NCO DIRECTION FINDER OPERAT
uftwaffe blue/grey wool base with a machine embroidered, central, serrated, horizontal bar with eight "lightening bolts" emanating diagonally outward from the center with four lightening bolts to the top and the other four to the bottom of the central bar, and a Gothic "P", indicating, Peil Funker, (Direction Finder Operator), to bottom, all in silvery/grey rayon threads. The outer edge of the badge is trimmed with hand stitched on, twisted, silver braiding indicating NCO ranks.

WWII GERMAN IRON CROSS 2nd CLASS
1939 pattern, die struck, three piece, style cross with a single piece iron core and a two piece alloy frame. The obverse features an embossed, high relief, central, canted, swastika with the re-institution date, "1939", to the bottom arm. The reverse bottom arm has the embossed original institution date, "1813". The swastika is in nice high relief while the dates are somewhat lower. The medal loop and ribbon suspension ring are both intact. Unmarked . The cross comes complete with a piece of original ribbed rayon ribbon. Ribbon is smaller 25mm
