RARE KRIEGSMARINE PITH HELMET
A nice of a lightweight pith helmet, covered with a medium tan cloth. The outer brim is trimmed with a light brown leather with some scuffing. The right side has a very thin, aluminum tri-color shield with little scuffing. The left side has a Kriegsmarine eagle in gold over a black background, this to has scuffing. There is a light brown leather chinstrap that is worn but complete. The medium green cloth lined interior is in nice shape. It has a light brown leather sweatband that is ink stamped on the underside with the size (55), the manufactures info (ORL), the date of production ( 1941) , and a maker stamp on the outside of sweat band. A hard to find pith helmet in very nice shape.

Blue body with black band and GOLD wire piping to crown, band has the embroidered oak leaf design, Chin strap is a silk like material held on by two gold buttons, badge on front is metal with black cloth and embroidered swastika. Interior has a grey leather sweat band ,liner is green with the pekuro maker name on sweat diamond. Very rare cap!
KNIGHTS CROSS WITH OAK LEAVES CASE new price
Knights Cross Case Only- this is an original black case for the Knights Cross. The box is the square corner type in very good mint condition. REAL KC boxes are very hard to find. This box is black with white satin lining. 3 1/16 by 5 5/8 inches, catch and hinges work fine. the best part is you can see where a KC with OAK LEAVES sat in case for a long time.
